STEMinar & Career Symposium

FEM STEM Bahamas will be organizing Girls in STEM Conference during the month of March in honor of International Women's Day.  The Inaugural STEMinar and Awards Ceremony  aims to promote and empower women and girls in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. These disciplines have traditionally been dominated by men; a fact that is all but too apparent in the classroom, in the workplace, and in the media. 

This unique event is designed to help you, future innovators and leaders, explore a wide range of career opportunities, including those outside the traditional academic career track.  STEM professionals present highlights on their careers and hot topics in science, technology, engineering and math with a Q&A session following. Two virtual panel discussions are planned. We invite interested students to join us in learning about the breadth of research being conducted by outstanding faculty across many STEM disciplines.
