In an effort to raise awareness about the benefits of clean fuels and energies, FEM STEM Bahamas is planning a 5 week STEM Workshop beginning Saturday January 30th 2021. This workshop will to seek to engage and educate public and private high school girls’ ages 14 to 18 based in New Providence, The Bahamas about farming, preservation and biofuels and bioenergy, its benefits to the environment and how STEM plays an important role in the process. At the end of the workshop the students will be able to : To identify the differences between biofuel and fossil fuels. Explain the differences between various forms of biomass energy and how biofuels compare. To explain the trade-off involved with the use of biodiesel.
